Climb Out of the Darkness® is the world’s largest event raising awareness and honoring those impacted by perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) that may occur before, during, or after pregnancy. Surviors and supporters of all ages join together to walk, stroll, and climb trails to represent their rise out of the darkness of perinatal mental health challenges and into the light of hope and recovery.

We're excited to host Duluth's first ever Climb Out event on Sunday, August 18 at 3:00pm in Chester Park! We will meet in the field near the playground and together "climb" to Upper Chester Park. The walk will be all-terrain stroller and babywearing friendly.

While registration is FREE, donations will be allocated to the Postpartum Support International Minnesota Chapter to help empower local families with the necessary tools for a strong and healthy start. PSI is dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of perinatal mental health challenges by supporting families, community programs, and healthcare providers.

Ready to get involved? Join our team with the option to raise money and awareness by pressing the "Join Team" button in the upper right hand corner. Earn a PSI t-shirt if you raise $100 by July 26! You can also help by sharing the event on social media and spreading the word. Most importantly, show up and help us shine a light of hope and support others to Climb Out of the Darkness!
