Society for Pre and Post Natal Services (SPANS) and Biomedical Research and Training Institute (BRTI) in collaboration with the University of Zimbabwe, College of Health Sciences, Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology plans to hold the 2nd International Conference on Maternal Mental Health in Africa (ICAMMHA) in December 2019.Our theme this year is “Incorporating Mental Health into Maternal, Paternal and Child Health to improve outcomes”.

We hope to bring participants from many parts of the continent to further African awareness and to improve the accessibility, affordability, timely and essential maternal and paternal services. One of the conference is to create an Inter-African Nurturing Care joint Roadmap of reference.
