As a momma who has struggled two out of three times with Postpartum Depression, I am so proud to walk for my third Climb Out of Darkness event this year. Last year I went with my baby who was only a week old - that is how near and dear this cause is. I remember feeling so alone, ashamed and guilty after having my first two children and being too afraid to share with anyone what I was going through. I hope that we can all bring more awareness to this issue so that moms don't need to feel the need to hide and can get the help and support they truly need in such a tough time. <3
