Join Team Phoenix in the Climb!
Climb out of the Darkness is an internationally known, annual walk to spread knowledge, to show compassion, to unite like families, to know there is help, to know you will be better. This year's walk will be sponsored by the Arizona Chapter of Postpartum Support International. Our event will bring families together to spread knowledge on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. It will be a free family event full of fun, friends old and new and raffles. The more we raise, the more we can help those in need. 

Did you know...? that 1 in 7 moms will suffer from mood and anxiety disorders?  

• PSI Arizona spends over $8000 each year printing brochures in English and Spanish to hand out to healthcare professionals and at educational fairs and conferences. A small donation of $25 can print almost 200 brochures. 
• PSI Arizona Chapter spends an average of $60 per month on just the warmline phone message service.  
• The Arizona Warmline, sponsored by PSI Arizona Chapter, is run by volunteers of families that have suffered from PMAD's. It's their goal to send at least two volunteers to continuing education and certifications. Last year, PSI AZ Chapter provided over $1300 in scholarships for our volunteers around the state to be certified by PSI in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.

It's amazing how even a small donation can go. The more we earn, the more we can give back to healthcare facilities around the state doing wonderful things for PMAD awarness, prevention and care; and the more we can spend on informational booths at annual conferences such as: the Suicide Prevention Conference, March of Dimes Annual Walk, Mom Congress and many others. Joining the walk means you care. It means you are willing to help fight for awareness. Joining the walk requires nothing but your time. However, non-profit organizations rely solely on donations and fundraisers. We would be so honored to have you join in on our family event. Fundraising and donations  are not required when registering or walking.
