Thank you for supporting me as I raise funds for the Iowa Postpartum Support International Chapter. You can join me and other Central Iowa families for the Climb Out of Darkness Walk on June 22nd at DMACC in Ankeny. Postpartum mental health concerns affect families of every culture, race, religion, and economic status. It is the most common childbirth complication yet very few families are even screened. Many parents suffer in silence or cannot find the resources for the treatments they need. When parents struggle with postpartum mental health concerns, it affects everyone. We climb to raise awareness and funds for training professionals here in Iowa so all families have the support and resources they need!
The Climb will be held rain or shine on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019, in Lot E near Building 7 at DMACC in Ankeny. Registration starts at 9:30am and the climb starts at 10am. It’s a very stroller friendly 1.2 mile trail around the lake.
